The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (ICOME) is a biennial international event held in Indonesia, bringing together researchers, academics, engineers, industry professionals, and experts from around the world to share their latest research findings, technological developments, and innovations in mechanical engineering and related fields.
Since its inception in 2013 in Lombok, ICOME has consistently provided an international platform for academic exchange and collaboration, attracting more than 125 participants from over 20 countries. Following the success of the inaugural conference, the 2nd ICOME was held in Bali in 2015, followed by Surabaya in 2017 and Yogyakarta in 2019. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the 5th ICOME was conducted virtually, while the 6th ICOME in 2023 was organized in a hybrid format in Bali.
The 7th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (ICOME 2025) was successfully held on 12–13 November 2025 in Surabaya, Indonesia, and was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). The conference carried the theme:
“Innovating for a Sustainable Future: Advancing Mechanical Engineering Solutions”
ICOME 2025 provided an academically enriching and internationally engaging platform for researchers, academics, students, industry professionals, and practitioners to present their latest research, exchange knowledge, establish collaborations, and discuss emerging challenges and innovations in mechanical engineering and related disciplines.
