General Information
All authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to SENTA 2026 by submitting original
research papers related to the conference theme,
“Maritime Technology: For Sustainable Ocean Development”.
Submissions are welcome across all conference topics and subtopics.
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by the
Scientific Committee of SENTA 2026. Papers that do not meet the scope of the conference
or fail to satisfy the required quality standards may be rejected at any stage of the
review process. The decision of the reviewers and the Scientific Committee is final.
Publication
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the
SENTA 2026 Scopus-indexed proceedings
(registration currently in progress by the organizer).
Papers that do not meet the eligibility criteria for the proceedings may be considered
for publication in
IJOCE — International Journal of Ocean and Coastal Engineering,
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), indexed in SINTA 4.
Note: Publication in either venue is subject to successful presentation at the conference
and compliance with the respective publication requirements.
Abstract Submission
- Submissions must be written in English.
- The abstract must not exceed 200 words.
- The abstract should clearly describe the research background, objectives,
methodology, key results, and conclusions. - The abstract should emphasize the significance and/or originality of the work
within the scope of the conference. - Authors must ensure that the submitted abstract falls within one of the conference
subtopics.
Full Paper Submission
- Only authors whose abstracts have been accepted will be invited to submit a full paper.
- All papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review by any other journal
or conference. - Manuscripts must strictly follow the official MS Word template:

- Papers that do not comply with the template will be returned without review.
- There is no strict page limit; however, authors are encouraged to present their work concisely.
- Authors must include full name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) in the manuscript.
Peer Review Process
All full papers will undergo a blinded peer-review process. Each paper will be evaluated
by independent reviewers from the Scientific Committee based on:
- Relevance to the conference scope and subtopics
- Originality and scientific contribution
- Methodological soundness
- Clarity and quality of writing
- Validity of results and conclusions
Papers that do not meet the minimum quality standards or fall outside the conference scope
will be rejected. Authors will be notified of the review decision via email.
Ethical Standards
All submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism, data fabrication,
or duplicate submission will result in immediate rejection and may be reported to the
authors’ institutions. All papers will be screened for plagiarism prior to publication.
