It is my great honor to welcome you to SENTA 2026 — The 11th International Conference on Marine Technology, hosted by the Faculty of Marine Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya.

SENTA has come a long way. Since its inception in 2001 as Seminar Nasional Teknologi dan Aplikasi Kelautan — the National Conference on Marine Technology and Application — this conference has served as the premier forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners in marine technology across Indonesia. For over a decade, it brought together the nation’s finest minds under one roof, fostering collaboration and advancing the frontiers of marine science.

Then in 2016, driven by a growing international recognition and an expanding research network, SENTA took a bold step forward and transformed into a fully international conference — opening its doors to the global community and establishing itself as a bridge between Indonesian excellence and the wider world of ocean research.

I warmly invite researchers, engineers, academics, and industry practitioners from around the world to join us in Surabaya. Let us exchange ideas, forge new collaborations, and together chart the course toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced maritime future.
