5th Maritime Safety International Conference
Theme for This Year MASTIC Conference
The 5th Maritime Safety International Conference (MASTIC 2026) is an international conference held by the laboratory of Reliability and Safety, Department of Marine Engineering, Faculty of Marine Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya. This year, MASTIC 2026 brought the theme of “Cutting Edge Technology and Sciences for Enhancing Maritime Safety, Security, Health and Environment.” The aim of MASTIC 2026 is to exchange the latest knowledge, innovations, and best practices in the field of maritime technology and sciences, particularly focusing on enhancing maritime safety, strengthening security, promoting health standards, and protecting the marine environment. This conference seeks to highlight interdisciplinary approaches and technological breakthroughs that contribute to sustainable and resilient maritime development. The 5th Maritime Safety International Conference (MASTIC 2026) will address both current and emerging challenges by emphasizing advanced technologies for safe ship operations, secure maritime facilities, environmentally friendly practices, and health-oriented innovations. It also provides a platform to discuss recent issues related to climate change, renewable energy integration, and digital transformation in the maritime sector. MASTIC is designed to be an advance biennial (2-yearly) international conference in which the manuscripts will be indexed and going through a peer-reviewed process to ensure the quality of each article. This conference is expected to be a great medium for networking among universities, research institutions, government agencies, maritime industries, and other maritime related stakeholders.
